Rental Terms & Conditions

1. Rental Period

• Jewellery is rented only for the booking period agreed and recorded at the time of confirmation.
• The customer must return the jewellery on or before the agreed return date and time.
• Rental jewellery is for the booked customer's personal use only.
• Jewellery must not be sub-rented, pledged, pawned, transferred to another person for commercial use, or used for any unauthorised purpose.

2. Booking and Payment

• Advance booking is required to reserve jewellery for selected dates.
• Jewellery availability is date-specific and subject to confirmation.
• A booking is considered confirmed only after the applicable advance/payment requirements communicated by Aval Ani Bridal Studio are completed.
• Rental charges must be settled according to the payment schedule communicated for the individual booking.
• Booking-specific rental amounts, discounts, payment schedules, security deposits, pickup dates, event dates, and return dates are governed by the confirmed booking details.

3. Booking Cancellation

• Booking cancellation terms and refund eligibility are governed by the terms communicated and agreed for the individual booking.
• Any non-refundable booking advance or cancellation deduction communicated at the time of confirmation will apply.
• We do not state that every payment made is automatically non-refundable unless that condition was specifically communicated and agreed for the booking.
• Cancellation does not automatically cancel or erase completed payment and refund records. Any applicable cancellation settlement or refund will be handled according to the booking-specific terms.

4. Security Deposit

• A refundable security deposit may be collected depending on factors including jewellery value, booking requirements, delivery method, customer location, and risk assessment.
• The security deposit amount is determined at booking level and is not a fixed product-level amount.
• The security deposit will be processed for refund only after the jewellery is returned and inspected.
• Applicable charges for damage, breakage, missing stones, missing components, late return, loss, or other recoverable amounts may be deducted before the deposit refund is completed.
• If applicable recoverable charges exceed the available security deposit amount, the customer remains responsible for paying the remaining balance.

5. Identity Verification

• Aval Ani Bridal Studio may require valid government-issued identification and relevant booking/contact information before jewellery handover or dispatch.
• Information provided by the customer must be accurate and belong to the customer or authorised booking contact.
• Aval Ani Bridal Studio may decline handover or dispatch if required verification, payment, or booking requirements are incomplete.

6. Jewellery Care Instructions

Customers must handle rented jewellery carefully.

Care requirements

• Avoid contact with water, perfume, cosmetics, hairspray, chemicals, and excessive moisture.
• Handle jewellery with clean and dry hands.
• Do not bend jewellery.
• Do not force hooks, clasps, screws, chains, or adjustable components.
• Do not pull chains or apply unnecessary pressure.
• Store each jewellery item safely in the provided box, pouch, zip cover, or protective packaging when not in use.
• Remove jewellery before sleeping.
• Remove jewellery before activities likely to cause damage.
• Avoid attempting home repair, alteration, glue application, stone replacement, or other modification.
• In case of accidental damage or difficulty using a jewellery component, contact Aval Ani Bridal Studio promptly.

7. Return Policy

• Jewellery must be returned on or before the agreed return date and time.
• Late returns may attract applicable late-return charges based on the booking terms, duration of delay, and resulting business impact.
• Returned jewellery will be inspected after receipt.

Inspection may include checking for

• breakage
• missing stones
• missing components
• damaged hooks or clasps
• structural damage
• material scratches or damage beyond reasonable handling
• missing items
• other material damage

Where applicable

• reasonable repair charges may be recovered,
• replacement charges may be recovered,
• applicable amounts may be deducted from the security deposit.

If an item is damaged beyond repair, lost, stolen, or not returned, the customer may be liable for the applicable replacement or market value, subject to assessment.

8. Courier Returns

Customers returning jewellery through courier must follow the packing instructions provided by Aval Ani Bridal Studio.

• Jewellery must be packed securely.
• Each jewellery item should be individually protected using the supplied pouch, zip cover, soft cloth, tissue protection, or other suitable protective material.
• Jewellery must be arranged securely with adequate cushioning to prevent movement, impact, scratching, bending, or tangling during transit.
• The jewellery storage box or inner container must be packed securely inside a suitable strong outer carton.
• Customers should use a reliable and trackable courier service.
• Professional courier services are recommended.
• Courier tracking details should be shared promptly after dispatch.
• Any specific courier return instructions communicated for the individual booking must be followed.

9. Disclaimer

• Customers with known skin sensitivity or metal allergies should exercise appropriate care before using rental jewellery.
• Jewellery designs, catalogue availability, and pricing may change for future bookings.
• Changes to future catalogue pricing or availability will not automatically modify the agreed terms of an already confirmed booking.
• Aval Ani Bridal Studio reserves the right to decline a rental request where verification, availability, payment, safety, or operational requirements are not satisfied.
