Courier Return & Packing Instructions
Follow these steps carefully when returning your rented jewellery by courier. Careful packing protects delicate pieces during transit.
Step 1 — Prepare the Box
Line the bottom of the jewellery box/container with suitable cushioning such as bubble wrap or other safe protective material.
Step 2 — Pack Each Item Separately
- Place each jewellery item in the provided zip cover or pouch where available.
- Delicate items may also be wrapped in soft cloth or suitable tissue protection before placing them in the protective cover.
- Prevent jewellery pieces from rubbing against each other.
Step 3 — Arrange Necklaces and Harams
- Place necklaces and harams carefully.
- Avoid sharp folding.
- Avoid tangling.
- Arrange them neatly over suitable cushioning.
Step 4 — Arrange Smaller Items
Arrange earrings, chutti, mattal, and other smaller pieces securely. Ensure that they cannot move freely inside the box.
Step 5 — Place the Hipbelt
Place the hipbelt gently with appropriate separation and cushioning. Do not force or sharply bend the hipbelt.
Step 6 — Place Jada Accessories and Delicate Pieces
Position jada accessories and other delicate pieces securely with adequate cushioning. Ensure they cannot move or collide with heavier jewellery items.
Step 7 — Final Cushioning
Fill empty spaces using suitable cushioning material.
The goal is to prevent:
- shaking
- impact
- scratching
- bending
- movement during transit
Step 8 — Seal and Courier
- Close the jewellery container securely.
- Place the inner container inside a strong outer cardboard carton.
- Seal the outer carton properly using strong packing tape.
- Use a reliable and trackable courier service.
- Professional courier services are recommended.
